I.
  http://petapixel.com/2015/01/01/projector-brought-forest-turns-nature-glowing-wonderland/

This website mostly talked about projecting moving light on objects so it looks like the objects were glowing. They used a projector to light up all the trees, shrubs, animals, and bugs, they then took pictures or videos of them while they were glowing under the effect of the projector. They had to do this at night so it would have a better effect. I liked it because it gives them an interesting factor that is hard to imagine.

Mural Project

Our group theme is halloween.

I chose Dorothy Greco for my photographer. She is a writer and photographer. She specializes in landscape photography. I like them because i think nature photography is more interesting then portraits.  she also does alot of close ups.

I like this photograph that she took because It is simple and enjoyable to look at. It has lines which makes you look to the bottom right.

I like this photograph because it has drops of water suspended in the air with spider webs inbetween a plant which makes it interesting, and makes it the point of focus.

I like this photo because of its simplicity yet how interesting it is at the same time, the reflection in the water adds a lot to the photo

I like this photo because it is interesting and it leads your eye throughout the photo, it has alot to look at, and i like the contrast between the lighted part in the back and the darker foreground.

I like this photo because of its detail, it is very simple, but very pleasing to look at because its something that would be harder to see even with just your eyes.

Magazines part two

An image based magazine cover shows a person in the cover, the person does not have to be looking at the camera, it is the most common approach to magazine covers. An illustration based magazine cover is a cover which contains a hand drawn picture, it is not taken with a camera, it can also be computer generated. Another rare type of magazine cover is the Type based magazine covers, these magazine covers tend to be striking, or even shocking, it is not based around a picture usually.
the last magazine cover type is the concept type magazine cover, this one is a combonation of all three magazine cover types.

The relationship between words and photos on magazine covers is that they compliment each other very well, while pictures can say a lot, words can say something very specific or very intriguing and grab interest. this is important because together they can make a very good cover.

My favorite cover

             Favorite

"For this cover story on the U.S. women’s ski-jumping team, we featured the Olympic hopeful Sarah Hendrickson as photographed by Martin Schoeller. Schoeller captures the competitive spirit of Hendrickson, who wears her competition gear, in her body posture and intense gaze."

This photo was my favorite photo because it was very eye catching, it displays Sarah Hendrickson in the photo staring into the camera, giving an uneasy feeling. It also shows her in her protective gear which grabs the readers interest and it looks cool. The title "Flight Risk" in big bold letters is also very intriguing. The photographer managed to take a simple but eye catching and interesting photo. It says that She is competitive by putting her in competitive gear and making her stare into the camera with a serious face.

A. I think the "breaking down" photo is the most meaningful because it shows how is life is being taken up by is job and his social life and how it affects him

B. The images tell the story of Ian Fisher because it shows the events in his life in order and shows how it affects him.

C. the captions affect the photographs because it says what is happening and why, so it gives you a better idea of what is happening.

D. in 2007, Ian fisher decided to enlist in the army, after saying goodbye, he left to be trained. After his basic training, he bonded with his instructor, and he was then deployed in iraq. after a while in the army he was quite used to it, however, his job was interfering too much with his social life and he got him self demoted on purpose out of stress. after a while in iraq he gets married to his girlfriend.
